[Design and Technology] laser recommendations

We are running a Trotech at Templestowe and Red Baron (PicoKit) at Hampton
Park.

The Trotech does a great job engraving and is good for fine quality work.
We have 3 issues with it. Firstly it is rated at 80 Watts but functionally
it performs like a 30 watt machine. Secondly the software that it uses to
cut can be pretty buggy, especially if you are letting students use it.
Third, their extended warranty is $4000 a year and there seems to be very
little it actually covers.

The Red Baron is a work horse when it comes to cutting. It has the ability
to cut through 20mm wood without issues. The user interface is not the best
but it can be upgraded to run with Light Burn. Engraving on the Red Baron
is not comparable to the Trotech. The Red Baron is also much loader.
