Hi All

Im going off topic for a random question.
Is anyone running a computing/robotics program at year 10?
We are running both but would like to have a textbook that students can use for theory practice leading them into year 11 Computing.
Anyone know of any good text books that address the VCAA DigiTech curriculum at year 10?

Great cohort coming out of Monash Uni BTW, good gender mix and most have some really solid industrial experiences to tap into. Preservice teachers are all offered free DLTV membership and most of my past students are probably nervously lurking on these lists. You'll meet them at Digicon.

Say, the issue of Women in tech is an interesting and paradoxical one, I will check with the DLTV EO as I suspect that there there may be plans to do something after DigiCON, later this year.

-        Students: perceptions, drivers

Interesting inputs to the conversation might be:

Ironic of you to say Melissa, twas being talked about off list yesterday when I shared the data from Mark.

Spoke about it on Wednesday with the new EO Kevin Daly and Nathan when they visited me at Monash Uni. Getting together is a great idea and you are not alone to think this at DigiCON.

Without turning it into something akin to "Game of Thones" or unleashing yea olde dragons, keeping it respectful and dignified .. what does everybody envisage that this would look like at? What would you like to see happening?
