Hi Folks
Great timing Mark !
As I have slipped away a little from the VCE space ( I am only teaching VET Cisco and VET IT Certificate III ) and moved onto the VET AQF arena ( Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma ), I have asked my students to enrol at their public libraries to access lynda.com training material for both the AQF and the industry certification ( Microsoft MTA, MCSA, MCSE, Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security and CCNA CyberSecurity Operations ) effectively for free training material.
Additionally anyone with an edumail account can bypass the public libraries and access lynda.com directly via the link https://www.edustar.vic.edu.au/lynda. This includes teachers, local technicians and anyone else with an edumail account. I am not sure about private schools.
Speak soon

Also worth joining the State library of Victoria for much the same. You can get access to the cool archives of education research instead of paying per paper and online journals.

I insisted that all my VCE students join both for access to all these online tools. The local library was a nice discovery for them.

Hi all.
I just discovered today that one can get free online access to Lynda.com<http://Lynda.com> tutorials via the local council libraries - Kingston, in my case.
I'm not sure whether other councils have similar offerings, but it's worth a try. I've learnt heaps via Lynda courses over the years.
P.s. My library also has free online access to stacks of mags like Choice and Australian Personal Computer (which I've been reading since 1981)
