Hi Don,

Can’t help, but find this area reasonably straight forward for students. we use ganntproject.
I Cover main features adding tasks, dependencies, milestones, adding resources then do a quick little practice task.

The Nelson text – chapter 3 pages 134-143 covers project management and gantt charts to reasonable depth.
