Oh Roland - what can I say when humming that tune! I was privileged to be in Brisbane this weekend (yes when the grand final was one!) to see and hear you and Amanda perform this song!

I first meet you at a 1990's ACCE conference in Melbourne at a time when school dot-matrix printers still buzzed with excitement from banner mania or Lotus 123. Tomorrow there will be a gathering of important binary bards, distinguished by particularly long cloud-generating clay pipes, who will pen songs and poems about your accomplishments and deeds that will henceforth resonate through our school hallways by a small army of jolly minstrels.

Thank you for all you have done to raise the bar with Digital Technologies in Australia and help educators inspire the next generation of children.

I remember you as the face of IT as a graduate and have trusted every word you said.
