Dear colleagues

Earlier this year eight teachers were appointed as Digi Tech specialist teachers to support the implementation of the Digital Technologies curriculum and coding/computational thinking in Mathematics. These teachers work for the VCAA 0.5 and 0.5 in their schools, where they are physically situated. We meet virtually as well as face-to-face.

>From a personal perspective this has been an extremely rewarding experience - I have had the opportunity to work with a fabulous team of enthusiastic teachers. Initially their appointment was for 18 months, however, most of these teachers will have their time extended until the end of 2017.

If you have a good knowledge of the Digital Technologies curriculum and would like the opportunity to work with other schools to support the implementation of the Digi Tech curriculum, then I would urge you to consider applying for this role. It is intended that a small team will be appointed to join the existing team. Applications do not have to be extensive and the closing date is Wednesday 16 November. The tenure of the appointment is 18 months.
