Each student does their own work - their own hypothesis hence their own data sets.

Hello Infomaniacs,
I need some clarification for Area of Study 2……………
Q’s
Do students develop their hypotheses based on a selection of data sets the teacher has ‘suggested’ based on an agreed theme?
OR
Do students source their own data then develop a hypothesis?
Put bluntly. Do the class all work on the same theme or conduct their own individual investigations on many and varied possible themes?
