They will conduct their own investigations on many and varied themes to use your words Donald.

For authentication purposes, you should try to avoid students doubling up or using "reversed" hypotheses (ie Student 1 is looking at "The earth is spherical" and "The earth is flat".

Subject: [Informatics] Hypothesis formulation

Hello Infomaniacs,

I need some clarification for Area of Study 2...............

Q's

Do students develop their hypotheses based on a selection of data sets the teacher has 'suggested' based on an agreed theme?

OR

Do students source their own data then develop a hypothesis?

Put bluntly. Do the class all work on the same theme or conduct their own individual investigations on many and varied possible themes?
