Hello Roland,

My kids are, generally speaking, not academic types.  So ‘pristine with all personality and humour distilled out’ means they wouldn’t even look at a textbook. I barely used the theory parts of the old text book. I quite liked the Think About IT student activities as supplementary materials. It’s in the way that you use it I suppose.

Well, it’s just a rough draft. Hard to please everybody when you text book can span a bucket of fun lemonade to something else pure and pristine with all personality and humour distilled out. Kind of why I enjoy this list as it gives me a valuable clue how others are ‘teaching’ and scaffolding this course. :-)
