es, from Greg Falke.  It's a pretty big doc. and dated 2005 so it could be s=
oon out of date.  If you want a copy I will put it on an email.


 


"Meal and Tea Breaks


 

A school services officer shall not work for more than 5 hours without a mea=
l break.

 

After 5 continuous hours of work, a school services officer shall take an un=
paid meal break (lunch), free of assigned duties, of not less than 30 minute=
s. 

 

All Integration/Teacher Aides employed prior to 17 October 2000 (the commenc=
ement of the School Services Officer Award) have an entitlement to a paid te=
n-minute tea break. "

Morning everyone,

 

Does anyone know where we can find the official policy on morning tea and lu=
nch breaks.  The only thing in the award we can find says that no employee c=
an work more than 5 hours without an unpaid =BD hours break.
