Hi all,

 

Wondering if any school can assist. 

 

We have an overseas trip running later in the year. The tour company has
asked us to collect all of the ticket receipts and pay the company with
one cheque. On previous tours, we have been advised by a different
travel agent that we are not permitted to collect the ticket charges as
we are effectively acting as a travel agent without licence which is
illegal ie on previous tours the parents paid the travel agent directly.

I have searched the web, but have only come up with a 'travel agent's
guarantee fund' so this may be the issue. Have other schools heard of
this?

 

How have other schools managed group travel?
