Hi Trisha,
 
You just need to do a family payment through A/R and then go into your unall=
ocateds and allocate the unallocated money against the cheque in the informa=
tion held for that family.  Then delete the student through Admin.

I have a new Prep family who enrolled and paid their Parent Contributions in=
 December. The amount is sitting unallocated on the system. They now have de=
cided not to commence and are enrolling at another school. They want a refun=
d. 
 
As I have not set fees up for the family, nor allocated their payment, can I=
 just draw a cheque from the reserve account then cancel the enrolment? Can=
 I cancel the enrolment before I draw the cheque?
 
I appreciate your advice.
