[Busmanagers] Refund of Fees

Happy New Year to you all and welcome back to 2007!
 
I have a new Prep family who enrolled and paid their Parent
Contributions in December. The amount is sitting unallocated on the
system. They now have decided not to commence and are enrolling at
another school. They want a refund. 
 
As I have not set fees up for the family, nor allocated their payment,
can I just draw a cheque from the reserve account then cancel the
enrolment? Can I cancel the enrolment before I draw the cheque?
 
I appreciate your advice.
