[Busmanagers] Finance Reports

The Auditor we had here last week said that the Department requires the
Cash Receipts report to be presented.  Who am I to argue against them,
I'm just a little fish in this big pool.

Hi Lisa,

My understanding is that now only the Balance Sheet and the Operating
Statement (both to be signed by School Council President) are now
required to be presented to school council.  All other reports we
present at our Finance sub-committee meetings and cheque payments are
approved there.  I have frequently had arguments with auditors over the
cash receipts report because my argument is that privacy constraints
would dictate that details of individual family payments to the school
are private and should not be made available to school councillors, only
aggregated receipts figures are appropriate - and on each occasion
they've agreed and it hasn't been recorded on the audit report.
