[Busmanagers] Casual employment - minimum age

Hello
We had to go through the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional
Development (phone 9651 5560 or 9651 0940) to employ our after school
care assistants who were under 15. A child employment permit was
required, along with the Industry department's special police cheque for
the supervising employers. A fair bit of paperwork, but maybe phone the
Department (as above) first to see what the current rules are.

I think that the age is 14yrs 9 months but from memory you need special
paperwork from the
tax department. When you go to put them on the system it asks you for
something special.
Can't remember exactly as I had this issue several years ago.
