Dear ALL BMG Group Representatives

Could you please send to schools in your networks this email from the
ATO.

Good Afternoon 
The Tax Office has approved the deferral of the December 2006 monthly
activity statement for all eligible schools and associated entities. 

The deferred due date for lodgment and payment of the December 2006
monthly activity statement is 21 February 2007. 
Provided the December monthly activity statement is lodged and paid (if
required) by 21 February 2007, penalties and charges will not be
applied.

Kindly advise your schools accordingly. 
This deferral applies only to pre-school, primary and secondary schools
and their related entities. 
It does not apply to the post secondary or university sector. They may
make an individual application to the Tax Office for deferral if
exceptional circumstances exist.
