[Busmanagers] Credit Card Machine

We migrate to Finance21 next month so I can't say how EFTPOS
transactions impact.  It works really well with CASES.

 

We have used a Westpac (formerly Bank of Melbourne) EFTPOS facility for
the past four years.   We paid a one-off establishment charge of $50.
Special pricing rates had been negotiated for all Victorian Government
schools wishing to utilise the Westpac facility.  These rates are
currently:

Merchant service fee (credit cards) 1.204% of total transaction amount
(minimum monthly fee is $22)

Debit card fee (cheque/savings) 14 cents per transaction.

(Stationery - no cost)

We currently use the old 'click clack' swipper for credit card payments
but are seriously thinking of going 'electronic'.  I would like to hear
from others how they find using EFTPOS transactions especially in
relation to CASES 21F.  We accept credit card payments for any payments.
