[Busmanagers] ATO Certificate Renewal

Hi everyone

We have been using the ECI for several years and this is the third
certificate upgrade I have done. I ignored the messages for a couple of
months - then thinking it was about time to complete, I had a few
problems because during the logging on process I made mistakes which
meant I had to wait 24 hours before I could log on again.

It was a little fiddly to complete, but there was no waiting period, the
day after I had completed the process I was able to do the BAS on line
(yes, it was that close). It is something that you do have to do when
instructed, if you don't you will have to apply for a new certificate
and that can take some time.

I found the message about applying/reapplying and which version to use a
little confusing, but I spoke to the ATO and they were very helpful.

My suggestion is - don't delay, start the process to get your new
certificate as soon as you get the message (after doing that month's
BAS), then if you do have any problems, you have time to fix them before
the next BAS statement is due.

Cheers
