Hi Ross,
Yes we have had that happen here as well, and yes my concern is what
happens of you inadvertently put in a wrong year or a wrong month? Did
the hotline have a scenario for that?

Subject: [Busmanagers] Transaction dates in batches
This may be old news but I thought that I would share it just in case.
A staff member processed a batch of invoices on the 17/2/06 and
inadvertently changed the transaction date from the current date
(default) to the 28/2/06. She may have been flying a long and meant to
enter that date in the due date field, not sure.
The outcome is that ALL batches of Creditor payment batches after that
pick up the wrong date e.g. 28/02/06 as the default date.
They process and behave normally except that if you do a bank rec to the
current date, you will not pick up the transactions in batches that have
the wrong date e.g. 28/02/06 date. If you do a bank rec using the wrong
date e.g. 28/02/06 it will pick them up.
Hotline confirms this information. When the system catches up to the
28/02/06 problem is gone. A bit scary if you enter 2007 or
beyond!!!!!!!!!!!
