The following are webinars that are being run by us at the VCAA and DLTV for Digital Technologies next week (Week 2 of Term 1) for teachers and leaders in schools. I have included all details and the links below.

1. Monday 5 February Sean Irving (VCAA Specialist Teacher) 4.00pm-5.00pm
Title: Curriculum Planning for Digital Technologies (F-6) - (VCAA)
Time: 1 hour
Outline:
* Brief overview of the curriculum
* Discussion of scope and sequence
* Planning the curriculum
* Suggested activities
* Cross-curricular connections
Abstract
This online session will introduce participants to planning for the Digital Technologies curriculum from F-6. They will become familiar with the curriculum and scope and sequence. Content of the session will include: examples of how the curriculum can be planned, discussion of sample activities and units as well as potential connections across the curriculum. This session will be suitable for teachers with a basic knowledge of the curriculum. Curriculum leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.

Abstract
This webinar will introduce teachers to the Digital Technologies curriculum from F-10. They will become familiar with the curriculum in terms of teaching, through the content descriptions and assessment through the achievement standards. The webinar will include: examples of curriculum planning, online resources, using digital devices to support the curriculum and suggested activities. This webinar will be suitable for teachers with a basic or limited knowledge of the curriculum who will be teaching it in 2018.
