Apologies for any duplicate posts ..
There is a great chance to listen to Stephen Heppell talk about the
role of ICT in learning. He was a guest speaker at the 2007 VITTA
conference and I have some great memories of the workshop that he ran.
A special thank you to The Ultranet and Digital Learning Unit for
organising this free event :-)
Thursday 17 May 9.30 am - 11.30 am
I should also add that registrations still open for the day conference
"Creating Multimedia Texts and the Australian English Curriculum" on
May 28. They have an impressive line-up of presenters, including Prof
Len Unsworth and Dr Angela Thomas. Thank you to Dr Paul Chandler for
organising this event. For more info go to http://tinyurl.com/6rgndev

Monday 28 May - all day
I will am busy at the ICTEV "Creative Connections" state conference
where you can also hear Stephen as a keynote speaker (he does his best
to share the good ideas and get around) Here I can amaze and wonder
you with my wit, candour and adjust reality with a sonic screwdriver.
Failing that, they serve some really good hot soup and run some great
workshops in a friendly bubbly atmosphere

Saturday 26 May - all day
Regards Roland
PS: Counting down to the 2010 VITTA conference in August :-)
