SHOPPING!   Its a girls best friend!!

spreadsheet...
Tell em they each have say, $1000 budget and to allocate it to items which they can then source links to shops online which can be inserted into cells.
Ebay, stacks of online shopping sites, etc.
They can total columns, or if skilled enough, make lookup tables etc..
Depends on skill level and willingness to spot a bargain!

eg..
Who can buy the most items with  a $1000 budget?  Could be the name of the task...

howzat!
