Welcome to the Global Game Jam 2010. The homepage for the GGJ can be found at: http://globalgamejam.org/jam

To sign up for the Deakin GGJ location, please confirm with Sophie Nichol:
snichol at deakin.edu.au (rather than the GGJ website).

The GGJ is going to be run from Jan 29th (Starting at 5pm) and concluding 
31st of Jan (at 5pm).

In the meantime, here is some information for you.

The locations for the GGJ at Deakin is Burwood (Studio Under motion.lab).

Other information to help with the event:
*       There will be no cost to you for the event: however you will need to get transport to and from the venue, and also provide yourself with breakfast and dinner each day.

*       Free tea and coffee will be available at each event

*       You can use the University equipment to participate, or bring your own machine.

*       The software we use in the GGJ is not restricted, however if you are using the University machines, you can only use the installed software

*       You will get a certificate of participation!

*       There will be awards for Most Outstanding Individual Performance, Best Group Performance, and the Best Douche award.

*       The GGJ is not a competition, but a community event. Your submissions will be posted on the GGJ website at the conclusion of the event, so we can all see your great work.

*       During the course of the event, we will be in touch with other locations to make things fun!

*       It is anticipated that we will be having industry speakers and employees of the games industry come to the GGJ and review our work!
