Hello All
Re: folk who have set up laptop trolleys for use within their schools.
Can you forward any documented process or procedures that you specify
for their use, care and location.
Once ours become operational - (we are presently imaging pretty much the
netbook software/freeware and some other proprietary software)
The equipment will be on a digital 'bookit" system for borrowing by
classroom teachers.
There is no doubt about the " house keeping" that is required in the
classroom, for example - a student must be logged on the same laptop
each class to track useage and any 'issues" arising. On return there is
the responsibility to power up or ensure all cords etc. are accounted
for.
We do not have a nominated librarian or audio visual person to do such
tasks. The trolley is intended to be in the staff work room area for
ease of access and return once booked out.
Any written material to help facilitate devising "policy' /procedures
would be appreciated .
All the best
