[Yr7-10it] google docs - images blocked - question

filter.vicone sucks (and is deprecated). Use acs.vicone if you
possibly can. We've set up student computers to use edupass as the
proxy, which forwards requests to acs using a username and password,
which have an ACL that allows filtered internet access (essentially
the same as filter.vicone), but it also lets you add custom white and
blacklists. Just using filter.vicone does not allow custom lists, I'm
pretty sure. I think netspace are trying to move everyone away from
filter and on to acs.
