Hi everyone,
Some of you might be aware of this already - but ACMI are about to launch
the GameOn! exhibition:
http://www.acmi.net.au/game_on.aspx
The GameOn exhibition consists of a playable history of the computer games
industry and includes art work and design concepts as well as rare gaming
hardware and collectibles. There is far more detail available by following
the link above. In addition to this, ACMI will be running some special
events around the exhibition - the first being a couple of free lectures by
the programmer who created the classic Pong game - Al Alcorn.
I will be taking my class to the exhibition and the free lecture Al is
giving on the 6/3. Entry to the exhibition is $10 for students.
I will give a report to the lists after the event!
Cheers,
Adrian
