[Yr7-10it] typing programs

My students use Typequick. We are a 7-12 school and we use it primariy with Years 7 and 8. The program is quite boring, but certainly improves keyboard knowledge and speed and accuracy. The language used in some of the speed and accuracy tests and lessons are quite sophisticated and I doubt that they would be useful to lower primary. We have this program set up so students access it through our school intranet. Individual student progress can be accessed by the teacher. We have had this program for quite a while. The kids complain that it is boring - and I cant disagree. Yet it does achieve the objective. There may be a program out there that achieves the same objective but is game based!

I'm looking to invest in a typing program for a Prep-10 school I'm
working at, where the general literacy levels of the students are
quite low. The two on my shortlist at the moment are TypeQuick and
TTAPS (which is on the software rolling fund). Typequick has a demo,
but I can't find the same for TTAPS - does anyone have any experiences
of either of these (or any other suggestions)?
