I'm the only on going from Casterton due to cost and distance. Once
again rural schools are disadvantaged.

Subject: [Yr7-10it] VITTA Conference
We were having a chat here this morning about the great sessions
outlined at the VITTA conference.
Our opinion is that apart from a few IT-specific sessions, it would
probably be more beneficial for other KLA staff to attend rather than
the IT staff due to the theme of x-curric.
Just wondering what the situation is in other schools? Is VITTA limited
to IT staff? Who can attend from your school?
Our major gripe/issue is the cost. It is simply too cost-prohibitive to
get the teachers we need to go to go. :(
What is the situation at your school?
Cheers
Cameron
