Seems like a reasonable idea, but, not sure I think the kids are mature enough to handle the thinking processes required for the VET content at year7/8 level. Year 9 ?? Maybe better...
Good luck anyway!

Subject: VET Cert 1
Hi all,
We are thinking of incorporating VET Cert 1 into our year 7 to 9 IP course so the students come out of it with an outside qualification. Have any schools out there been down this track? What has been your experiences? Any ideas or examples about how to do it.
Any feedback, contributions etc. would be appreciated.
Thanking you
Jim

Subject: Re: [Yr7-10it] alan kay notes and quotes
There are some classic quotes and ideas there Bill. Thanks for compiling them.
If only this sort of vision could be magically transferred to all educational leaders.
I especially like the two quotes on how to predict the future: invent it, or prevent it.
Some recent discussions suggest that that different people have different views on which is the best approach...
