question for all the web 2 gurus 

is edublogs any different to, say, a public wordpress.com blog from a
safety security point of view? 

ie does it give any more moderation, access control, pwds, filters,
teacher control etc 

(need to run something with primary kids - would like to run something
that generates an RSS feed of kids work - blog looks like a good angle
but need to know if edublogs is just a domain name or does it offer any
more security - other online ideas that generate rss welcome)
