Thanks for inputs on remote desktop software 

Phil - we're mostly windows so the mac approach won't fit here, good as
it sounds 
Kent - Networx manager seems to have stopped selling their product all
together 

Vic - 
Netsupport School looks good but a little pricey as you say 

(Backorifice isn't going to fly, I think, given the malware status) 

(Anyone used NetOp - doesn't disclose pricing up front so I suspect may
be pricey)  

I've used some of these

(VNC, pcanywhere, citrix) but the most aren't geared for hwat we want in
schools
