[Yr7-10it] weird excel

thx for advice but i still cant get it to work

tried changin the format in excel but no luck

i cant even find where to change the field format in word - riight clicking no good!

  In Word, the field where the mailmerge data is placed can be formatted to 1 decimal place (or whatever).  It happens to me all the time when I create individual Mathematics assignments by mailmerging Excel data into a Word master document.

  ive got a weird bug on an excel/word merge

   

  i have to put the group number (ie 12.2) on hte report, but when i merge i get a message that there is a "field error" and it then prints 12.1999999999999999999 (or 12.30000000000000001 instead of 12.3)
