We introduce Kahootz through a couple of our year 8 - 10 electives. I have attended several P.D's plus the dept run mentoring programming. I also took 3 of the students to a full day student/teacher p.d ran by the dept.

Now the students know which students to ask for help and it has filtered up to the senior students and down to the year 7's. They will work on kahootz in their own time but as yet they have not used it within the curriculum. I had intended using it in year 7 French to create animated books and if I return to Balmoral High I will do so during term 4.

I have moved to a primary school for this term and will try to introduce it there over the next few weeks. Another software to look at in place of powerpointless is producer. A freebie and part of the office suite (needs office 2003 minimum) but it lets you combine powerpoint, video, music etc to make a more interesting presentation.
