Dear Janet

 

26 years in the classroom ? Did we really start around the same time ? I am
at 26 years 10 months and 7 days today .. but who's counting with so much
fun to be had ? Where did the time go ??

Janet you have been a great source of inspiration for all of us and you will
be sadly missed in this forum.

 

May you find new and exciting ways to fill your days and please do say hello
when the urge strikes . Mark Kelly has shown how to keep the enjoyment of IT
alive while sipping on a frappe on the beach. 

We look forward to your updates on the pleasures of kicking back and the
rejuvenation that retirement will bring.

HI all

 

I will keep this short and sweet.  Tomorrow will be my last day as a
teacher, being one of those rare breed that is in a position to take the
54/11 option.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every
member of this list for all the help and support they have offered over the
past 20 years - it has been an invaluable resource and the source of
inspiration, perspiration and sometimes irritation when puzzling over the
vagaries of study designs. 

 

In particular I would like to acknowledge Mark Kelly and Kevork Krozian's
outstanding contribution to the teaching of IT - it really makes the  job a
lot easier when you have two such committed and generous souls out there
willing to share their time and expertise. Thanks guys and gals, I couldn't
have done it without you.

 

After 26 years in the classroom it is certainly time to hand up the
whiteboard marker and do something different.  I hope 2015 is a rewarding
and fulfilling year for everyone.
