[Yr11 Information Technology] Unit 2 outcome 2 assessment task

Good morning all,

I am having a few problems with our IT department in not allowing my year 11 students access to VB. They are concerned that with enabling them
to create an executable file they feel the students my corrupt the network . I have been showing/ teaching them to wirte code with Game maker 8 and discussing VB.
 I am having problems though in looking at the Study guide and creating a SAC for them.
The students have been keeping an electronic blog and I thought that I could get them to investigate careers advertised in the area of programming. I a had two people from IBM come and
talk to them about their work at IBM.

This is the first time I have taught this subject. Any assistance would be welcomed.
