Hi David



love the data visualisation - I will show it to my students.  Can I ask what software you used?



I have been looking at some good examples of data visualisation on the many eyes website:  http://www-958.ibm.com/software/data/cognos/manyeyes/  For those that haven't investigated the site, you upload your own data sets and then choose a visualisation (there are many different sorts - both text and numerical data can be used).  The website is pretty simple to follow.  Students just have to create their own user name and password at the start, then off they go.  I was thinking that this would really tie in well with the concept of cloud computing (outcome 3) as well.

Hi all,

I have been working on Unit 1 Outcome 1 Water Watchers from the VITTA curriculum resource. Students were asked to classify each catchment percentage as “High” 100% - 70-%, “Medium” 70% - 50%, “Low” 50% - 30%
and “Critical” <30%

My boys have been enjoying the task.

Here is a sample of a visualisation that could be used in Unit 2.
