Has anybody any thoughts on the visualisation/infographics issue? Or is it just a given that each is interchangeable with the other.

It would seem from David Howard's recent posts and the response to these that "infographic" representation is acceptable. I have attached the 2 pics from David.

Here is an interesting link to a video looking at Data visualisation, also becoming increasingly known or at least accompanied by the concept of Infographics.

This brings up an interesting point. The Year 11 textbook or course outline doesn't mention Infographics (my spell checker doesn't recognise the word!) yet the phenomenon is becoming quite popular and is being used interchangeably with the notion of Data visualisation.

It would seem that it should be part of the vocabulary for Unit 2 Outcome 1? Would like to hear other opinions on this.
