[Yr11 Information Technology] IT Teaching Opportunity

RMIT is looking for a teacher to teach Intermediate-Level C Programming for its Foundation Studies programme beginning in June 2010. Prospective applicants must be familiar with, and able to teach the fundamentals of C leading to Pointers, Structures and Input/Output to text files.

The time fraction could range from 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE depending on the applicant's interest and ability to also teach Foundation Studies Mathematics (equivalent to Year 12 Maths Methods and Specialist Maths).

The initial contract would be until the end of 2010 with the possibility of renewal for a further one year if the candidate proves to be suitable. Preference would be given to applicants who possess a Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
