Hi all,
am seeking some introductory tasks for Flash CS4/Actionscript to intro a unit on these. Have never done actionscript prior so would love 'from the ground up' stuff. I wish to do a 4-5 week unit to year 8/9 level plus a small number of programming 'nerds' in my 9 group(they love programming). I plan to spend a few hours on the break to get myself up to speed on the stuff during week 1 of the break next week as week 2 I am moving into my new house and that will be my priority to help me have a real break.
If anyone has a unit, zipped files or similar they could email to share with me, I'd be really grateful.
ta,

Subject: [Yr11 Information Technology] Approved programming list for Software development
Dear colleagues
In the June Bulletin (page 8) is the list of Approved Programming Language for Software development for 2011. While there is no approved programming list for Unit 2, the languages listed for use in Software development may influence your language choice in Unit 2. Note however, students select to use either a programming or scripting language in Area of Study 2, Unit 2 and they may also use a programming language in Area of Study 1, but this is not mandated. Also, there are no restrictions on the software tool used in Area of Study 3, so if students (or their teachers) have a passion for programming, then the tool can also be used in this area of study.
Regards
Paula
