[Yr11 Information Technology] VB and girls

[Rattan, Kushum L]

I have a very Academic Y 11 and a very weak one. I am really worried
about how i will teach a scripting or programming language to my second
group. I am thinking of Action Script but am i able to use Scratch for
Unit 2?

The students will enjoy some of the funky stuff I am doing with Python,
Ren'PY or Scratch. Ooodles of resources online. You can just google the
details.

You could instead teach them VBA and combine it with PowerPoint. It
makes some really funky things possible in PPT and is great for
interactive digital stories, pretty simple to learn and is still a
scripting language.

to get started.
