[vet-mm] vet-mm Digest, Vol 155, Issue 2

Hi all

I go through the AIE. Academy of interactive entertainment in  Melbourne CBD. World trade centre.

They have their course set up to meet the standards. Some of their work needs adjusting but they never had an issue with that and you can add any content you wish and adjustments that you feel that need it.

They are really helpful and always respond promptly. Their focus is 3D games industry and I think it's a good solid base for what is required in today's tech industry. (Even though 3D isn't on the exam, they do teach to the exam and have an adobe Animate content). 3D is incorporated only in units 1 and 2. Being an animator in the animation industry in the past, I think the course work should evolve in this area.

Adobe animate is on the way out, but I do enjoy using it as a learning platform for animation. I feel not adding some 3D in the curriculum/course seems naive of us not to expose some of it to students....this is the way of the future after all.
