[vet-mm] Auspicing Services 2017

Hi Folks,
At our Industry Dinner there was a lot of discussion about auspicing arrangements, and I have received a number of queries and phone calls on the topic since Kangan TAFE withdrew from auspicing IDM in schools. They will still take students on their campus, but this was certainly not an option for us.
The not-for-profit, Inner Melbourne VET Cluster, is gearing up to offer schools their services, and have a number of experienced teachers writing curriculum for them.
I would strongly recommend you get in touch with Louise (9686 2354) or Penny if you are interested, as they have a compulsory information meeting for VET Coordinators coming up on 14th Oct.
I can't really give you much information, except to report almost all TAFEs and RTO's I contacted are no longer auspicing in school programs as the cost of compliance requirements is too onerous.

Hi all

Following a large number of enquiries to support schools with auspicing services in 2017, the IMVC invites VET Coordinators and VET trainers to  compulsory information/professional development sessions.  Please note schools who do not send a representative will NOT be auspiced in 2017.  This is an opportunity to highlight compliance requirements  and support schools with their training needs.

VET Coordinators are requested to attend the session on Friday, 14 October 2016 from 10.00am - 1.00pm.  RSVP to rtooperations at imvc.com.au<mailto:rtooperations at imvc.com.au> by 15 September, 2016.

VET trainers are requested to attend a professional development session on Friday, 9 December from 10.00am- 1.00pm. RSVP to rtooperations at imvc.com.au<mailto:rtooperations at imvc.com.au> by 25 November, 2016.
