One of my kids noticed this but I think he changed the filetype in ps and saved it in library as a symbol - however - I have no idea why this only appeared to happen to some students.

Sorry about the blank email.
I was going to say that my class experienced it just before the hols.
I have not had a chance to follow up with VCAA, but will.
I saw my kids creating the animation, they saved work, then went into finish it the next lesson and same problem as you describe with logo and text asset.
But it only happened to 3 or 4 kids - very odd. Coincidentally it was the most able kids who had progressed furthest in creating the animation that experienced it.
To be honest, we abandoned the task and moved onto something else when the third kid had the same issue.
I wondered if it was something to do with the text/font component of the assets that disappeared or related to their Illustrator origin?
It did not happen when kids sat the exam in 2015, and it was same desktops, same version of Flash.
Only difference that I can see was the computers are not on the network for exam and only exam material loaded.
I’m very glad it didn’t happen during the exam, but it does make me a bit uneasy.
I will investigate further – anyone out there seen the problem, and most importantly, worked it out?
Cheers
Claire

Hi all,
For those of you who are running the 2015 VCAA exam as a trial for this year's class, did you have any issues with Flash assets being lost or invisible when saved? It looks like 3-4 of my students were missing some vital assets (lollepop logo and "madness" text) when I marked their work. Students were adamant that it was working when they saved their work but upon opening it again today most of it was gone!
It could be related to this bug although we're using Flash CC 2015. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1265263
I've attached an example Flash file here to show you what I mean.
Any help would be appreciated.
Kinds regards,
Mark Schumann
