Just wanted to mention the student forum held at Top Designs, Melbourne Museum last Friday.
Artec Helpern-Laurence ex-Eltham HS spoke about year 12, his exhibit and how he got into Top Designs.
Luke Deylen, who studied VET MM (also ex-Eltham HS) spoke about his experiences in the industry since leaving school.
They were both very inspiring. My students were full of questions and spent quite a while talking to them after the presentation.
If you haven’t seen Top Designs, it’s well worth a visit, especially if you can take your students. Unfortunately, there is only one student forum event for our subject.

Hi All,

I did this task with my year 12s last week and it went really well.
Here is a screen grab from OneNote.
After they finished I got them to put it into After Affects (but you could use anything), move it around like a Prezi and then export it is different formats.

Researching the content, design process and making it took one week. moving it around and exporting it took another week.
Feel free to use and adapt.
