Adobe Software Offer for Victorian Government Schools under the Department of Education & Training – ETLA.

Dear School,

Adobe have been working with DET over the last 12 months to prepare an excellent offer for all schools to take advantage of the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software applications – CCE.

The Department has signed an agreement with Adobe (ETLA) to offer schools the following Adobe software at a highly discounted rate under an Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA).

Schools can Opt in for a 3 year period and pay yearly though the Adobe Platinum partner, Insight. Schools are required to opt-in their full FTE and pay Insight directly.

Key benefits of this Adobe CCE 2016 Opt in program;

·       Substantial cost savings for your Adobe Licensing

·       Options with Design and Web and CCE completed desktop application suites

·       BYOD Student - Design and Web software included, Schools that opt-in to this agreement will also be able to deploy the Design & Web package to student devices as part of the schools Adobe license fee.

·       BYOD Student upgrade options for CCE Complete desktop apps – at a heavily discounted rate

·       PD for all schools, teachers to take advantage of how to use these applications in the classroom, pedagogy, aligned to the Australian Curriculum

·       Fixed priced licensing for 3 years (secures the low price point for this period)

Opt in is open now open and closes on the 23rd February 2016.  This is a yearly opt-in program that will be opened in late January every year.

FAQ - Ordering and licensing

  1.  How do we Opt-in and place and Order?

A: There is a link on this email, and the attached offer, to a portal to complete the schools details and option around packages and extra software applications. Once schools do this, then you require to issue Insight a P.O for your software.   A Participation Letter will be issued by Insight once the P.O is sent to Insight – for signing.

  1.  Do schools need to opt-in 100% of their FTE?

A: Yes, a school can choose between Design and Web and CCE as a mix for primary (Design and Web) and CCE (High Schools grades)…

  1.  When are the opt-in dates and deadlines to enter this offer?

A: Open from 29th Feb 2016 – closes on the 23rd Feb 2016. No extensions unless approved by Adobe. Next opt-in period will be Jan 2017. Now other opt-in periods are offered.

4.       How long is a school committing to under this offer?

A: Schools that opt-in will commit to 3 years – paid yearly

5.       What are the dates under this offer and how is payment made by schools?

A: The ETLA, Opt-in start date is the 23rd Feb 2016. Payment is made to Insight with a PO issued to Insight and payment made yearly.

·        Conditional Disclaimer : The ETLA was signed off by ITD, Department of Education and Training Victoria with a start date effective from 23rd February 2016. This is a 3 year agreement that offers all Victorian Government schools the attached offer from Adobe on the latest subscription software, CCE 2016., under a FTE model. Schools that Opt-in must commit to a 3 year term, paid yearly and payment made to the Adobe partner, Insight Australia Pty Ltd by PO and signing a Participation Letter to enter this agreement. This special pricing was based on a total minimum number of FTE’s to be reached of 10,000 FTE. Once we reach this number of 10,000 this program and offering will take effect. Adobe have the right to extend the Opt-in period to enable this ETLA to take effect.
