Dear IDM Teachers,
Just a reminder of our Meet Industry Event. Thursday August 18.
This is an annual event that PixelEd organise to assist teachers in maintaining industry currency.
It is also a great chance to network with other teachers/trainers.
At this stage, we have not had a strong response, so are asking those who wish to attend to please register as soon as possible, so we can ascertain numbers.

Why come?

  *   An easy way to assist VET teachers to keep their industry knowledge up-to- date (as required by AQTF)
  *   Certificate of attendance provided
  *   A chance to network with teachers of Interactive Digital Media, ICT and Media
  *   Plenty of time to chat with and ask questions of our guest speakers
  *   Information on new technology and careers in Interactive Digital Media and ICT

Industry Guest Speakers include:

Stephen Reynolds
Stephen has worked as a Graphic Designer and Photographer with his own studio for nearly 4 decades and in that time has seen major transitions in the industry both in creative influences to the technologies utilised.
>From paste up in the 1970's to the digital revolution of desktop publishing in the 1990s and now to the changing market place with electronic media.
Stephen has worked as a designer, art director and photographer with clients covering everything from Electronics, Communications, Travel, Automotive, Architecture/Building, Accounting, Manufacturing and the Not-for Profit sector.
Over that time the studio has concentrated on the printed medium creating artwork for Brochures, Magazines, Catalogues and Books but also embracing the internet and supplying graphics and digital files for client's websites.
