PixelEd members, please forgive crossposts.

PixelEd has two very exciting PD offers to members. Read them both below!

Ten Year Announcement No.1: *PixelEd Conference PD Contribution*

In celebration of our tenth year of supporting teachers of Multimedia,
PixelEd will support the ongoing development of Member teacher knowledge in
the area of Multimedia by providing contributions of up to $2000 to assist
successful Member applicants to attend a conference of note in a relevant
area.

Applicants would be required to present a proposal outlining the relevance
of the conference to their teaching in the area of Multimedia and what
improvements to teaching and learning they expect to gain from attendance.

Applicants will agree that should they be successful they will give a
presentation to other teachers at a PixelEd event within one year of the
conference’s completion, describing the knowledge they acquired at the
conference they attended and how it is relevant to the teaching of
Multimedia.

Due date for all applications: *End of Term 4, 2015*

All applicants will be informed at the start of Term 1, 2016 as to whether
their application has been successful or not. Recipients of the
Contribution must be members of PixelEd.

Ten Year Announcement No.2: *PixelEd Teacher Industry Experience PD
Contribution*

In celebration of our ten years of support for teachers PixelEd offers
Members the chance to gain multimedia industry experience by assisting them
with a PD Contribution. Members are invited to find a placement or
placements for up to the equivalent of 5 full working days, in a setting
clearly relevant to improving their industry knowledge in the field of IDM,
and to apply for PixelEd to cover up to 5 days CRT costs.

Applicants will agree that should they be successful they will give a
presentation to other teachers at a PixelEd event within one year of the
conference’s completion, describing the knowledge they acquired during
their Industry Experience and how it is relevant to the teaching of
Multimedia.

Due date for all applications: *End of Term 4, 2015*

All applicants will be informed at the start of Term 1, 2016 as to whether
their application has been successful or not. Recipients of the PD
Contribution must be members of PixelEd.
