Hi Folks,
Just a quick reminder to register for the PIxelEd PD for new assessors. Time
is running out and only a few places remain.
Our presenters are practicing teachers with an extensive knowledge of VET
IDM. They include exam makers, State Reviewer and Past Chief Examiner.
This is a great opportunity to network with other teachers, whilst gaining
access to some very practical resources and skills.
Saturday Feb 15th at the Arts Centre Digital Learning Hub
The program is aimed at teachers who are new to VET IDM, and is an updated
version of our popular Newbies Day.
9.00 registration for a 9.30 start
9.30-10.30 Introduction to teaching Units 1-2 Understand the Units of
competency and share ideas and approaches with experienced IDM teachers
Morning Tea provided
11.00-1.00 CSS workshop - a hands on workshop that can be instantly used in
your classroom prac work in both years 11 and 12.
1.00-2.00 Lunch at own expense
2.00-3.00 Introduction to teaching Units 3-4. A unit by unit discussion of
the year 12 course. Exam tips and invaluable assessment advice
Cost: Members Full Day - $115.00 Non-Members Full Day - $155.00. Half days
available.

When you register, an invoice will be emailed.
If you are an existing member, this email goes to the address used at time
of joining pixelEd. You can reset password if forgotten!
Non-members (although why wouldn't you join your professional
organisation?), your invoice goes to the address entered when registering
for the PD.
Please forward invoice to your Business Manager for processing asap,
participation is not confirmed until payment is received.
