VITTA is proud to present the VITTA Technical Conference 2011 on Monday 29th
August.  The Technical Conference runs concurrently with the first day of
the VITTA Annual Conference & Expo 2011 - Leading and Learning from the
Edge. 

 

Major themes of the Technical Conference include management of mobile
devices for all students as well as managing both Apple and PC hardware and
software in your school environment. We have a great range of presenters and
the sessions cover many topics including how to manage mobile devices, how
to manage apple mobile devices, wireless networking, virtual machines,
networks and databases. 

 

As well, delegates to the Technical Conference are invited to visit the
Conference Expo.  More than 60 exhibitors will be present to assist with
school's decisions in implementing ICT infrastructure and elearning plans. 

 

The exhibitors provide the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the
latest developments in IT education products and services from a wide range
of educational suppliers to the P - Y12 sector.  They can assist you to
develop the best solutions to your hardware, software, networking and
professional development problems. The exhibitors are among the most
knowledgeable people in the country and they are very happy to discuss any
issues.

 

VITTA turns 21 this year, so delegates are also invited to help celebrate at
the Cocktail Party

6:00pm.

 

Please pass this information on to any of your technical support staff who
may have not yet have received any information about the VITTA Technical
Conference 2011. 

 

As well, if you have an outstanding technical support person working in your
school, you should nominate them for one of the awards in the categories of
"Outstanding Achievements in Developing Technical Tools for the Education
Community" and Outstanding Achievement in Technical Support to the Education
Community".

 

The Technical Conference venue is the Melbourne Racing Club,  Caulfield
Racecourse,  Gate 22, Station Street,  Caulfield, Victoria 3162.  This link
