Thanks John,
Appreciate your kind words. I thought it was a very useful day (although I am a little biased, I guess!!)
As a part of the PixelEd committee, we would really love any feedback on PD - what people would like and preferences - weekend, after school, during school hours, holiday...it seems we will never please everyone but any thoughts are most welcome.
I am currently investigating running after school PD via video conferencing, using Elluminate.
More details soon but if anyone has any input please let me know.
A couple of PDs coming up:
1) Prepare Video assets PD being held at Caulfield Grammar on Saturday May 22.
Limited to 20 participants. Cost $100/120 Book at: http://www.vitta.org.au
2) Melbourne Museum will be hosting a lecture for students on Top Designs-VET MM.
11.30 - 1.00 Friday May 28th.
Cost is $4.40, includes entrance to Museum. I will be speaking as State reviewer and Luke Deylan, a recent Swinburne graduate (who presented on Saturday) will be describing his work and experiences in Multimedia. Book through Melbourne Museum.
On Saturday I mentioned this article: Steve Jobs - Why we don't like Flash!
"Apple's chief executive Steve Jobs sharply criticised Adobe Systems' popular Flash multimedia software, calling it unreliable and ill-suited for mobile devices..."
Worth a look if you aren't up with the Adobe/Apple relationship

And finally, still awaiting specific exam advice from VCAA, they say it's on it's way so keep an eye on the VCAA website.
Regards
